Our Passion for Cavaliers
Our Story
We are a small, family-based Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeding program located in Lower Coverdale, New Brunswick. Although our breeding program is new, our dedication to and love for the Cavalier breed spans a lifetime. Gillian’s journey with Cavaliers began at just 11 years old, when she welcomed her first Cavalier into her life. From that moment on, Cavaliers have always been a cherished part of her home and heart.
Today, we are proud to share our lives with Etta, our beautiful tri-colour girl, who is the foundation of our breeding program, and Nemo, our three-legged Ruby boy. While Nemo is not part of our breeding program, he plays a very special role as the puppies’ “uncle” and first canine friend, helping to gently introduce them to the world with the patience and affection Cavaliers are known for.
We are a family of four, and our two daughters play an active role in our program as our enthusiastic and attentive puppy socializers, helping to ensure our puppies are well-adjusted and confident from an early age.
Health, temperament, and sound structure are the foundation of our breeding philosophy. We are committed to responsible breeding practices and ensure our dogs undergo OFA health testing, including cardiac (heart), patella, and eye evaluations, in accordance with breed recommendations. We maintain a limited breeding program, with our dogs and puppies raised in our home as part of our family.
Our goal is to thoughtfully breed healthy, happy Cavaliers with excellent temperaments and to place each puppy in a carefully chosen, loving home where they will be cherished for a lifetime.
